On Her Majesty's Service

The Queen, a big Bond fan, didn't show up for the opening of Quantum of Solace. Maybe she was one of the handful of people who didn't like Casino Royale, which, in my opinion, is the best Bond ever.

Here's my list, in order, of the best to worst Bonds:

Casino Royale
On Her Majesty's Secret Service
Dr. No
Live and Let Die
Diamonds Are Forever
Goldfinger
Tomorrow Never Dies
From Russia with Love
Thunderball
The World Is Not Enough
Die Another Day
(Never Say Never Again)*
The Living Daylights
License to Kill
Goldeneye
You Only Live Twice
Octopussy
For Your Eyes Only
The Spy Who Loved Me
The Man With the Golden Gun
View to a Kill
Moonraker

*Not officially part of the Bond canon. Illegitimate spawn of a lawsuit over rights to "Thunderball".

I agree with Casino Royale at the very top. No question there. Also, I think Craig is the best Bond because he plays it as a dark, cold psychopath, rather than some fruitcake who spends all his time fussing over his freaking drinks.
