Call the lawyers

Newspaper publishers who post their articles on the Internet, where the stories don't generate enough money to cover the cost of newsrooms, seem surprised and angry that people are taking advantage of their folly.

Mark, according to one blogger, all that newspaper owners need to do is this:

"Get your tech person to change your robots.txt file to say this:

User-agent: *
Disallow: /"

and this will apparently remove all pages from Google.

It also appears, according to Google CEO Eric Schmidt, that "We at Google have a multimillion-dollar deal with the Associated Press not only to distribute their content but also to host it on our servers."

Hm. Seems like someone is a little inconsistent.
